Rachel Anne Maddow is an American television host and writer. Maddow hosts the Rachel Maddow Show, MSNBC’s evening show. Maddow was the first prime time news anchor in the United States to come out as gay. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Stanford University and a doctorate in political science from Oxford University. She has also won a number of Emmy awards.
